We are happy to announce that we have added a new family member: Emil Andrae.
Andrae, a 16-year-old Västervik native, is a skilled defenseman currently playing for IK Oskarshamn J18. So far this season he has recorded four goals and 11 assists in 19 games, and has had the chance to play in four Allsvenskan games. This past month, Andrae was asked to represent Sweden for the first time at the U16 4-Nations tournament in Prerov, Czech Republic, but declined the offer due to injury. In addition, he has played for Småland in the past two TV-Pucken tournaments; this year he wore a ”C” on his sweater and put up 16 points in 11 games – three goals and 13 assists. Next season, Andrae is set to play for HV71 J18.
We are very excited to represent him, and look forward to watching him grow and develop as a player!

Erik Thorell is having a stellar season with HIFK of Finland’s Liiga. The forward is the team’s top point producer with 36 points in 45 games, 11 goals and 25 assists.
This is Thorell’s second season in Liiga. Last year he played for TPS and showed off his ability to rack up points already then, recording 44 points in 56 games with 24 goals and 20 assists.
As described by Elite Prospects, Thorell is ”a smallish winger with good hockey sense and impressive speed. Thorell is a fearless player with scoring ability and the willingness to play hard and determined. Not much of a physical threat. One of those players that will still fill a role as a team/role player if he is not able to translate his scoring to the next level. A team player with an exceptional work ethic and a great attitude.”
We can’t help but agree! Check out Thorell’s latest goal in HIFK’s 3-0 win against Ilves:
