Three players are representing Team Sweden from Playmaker during the world juniors this year.
Goalie Hugo Alnefelt, a HV71 player who was drafted by the Lightnings this year and had a phenomenal start of the year. He is 2001 born, with a save percentage of 92,0 in SHL and 96,4 in his two games for the national team.
Defenseman Rasmus Sandin, a first rounder for the Maple Leafs in 2018 NHL draft, who has already dressed up in 6 NHL games this season. He has 2 points in those 6 games and also 12 points in 19 AHL games. He will serve as one of the captains of the team.
Forward/center Linus Öberg, a Vänersborg native, who has never represented Sweden in international games. He has been a big factor in his SHL team Örebro, and has been a great two way player.
